Day 333/365: Sweater Progress

My formerly one-armed sweater now has a second sleeve in the works.

Now I am trying to decide how long I want the sleeve, and whether I should end with ribbing or some other style of cuff.

    • Hi, unfortunately I don’t have a video or tutorial for this. I started at the neckline, increased for the shoulders, and worked my way from the top down. I actually began around 2 years ago and just never got around to finishing it! I recently picked it up again so that I could finish it this year. I learned how to make a top-down sweater from a class at a local yarn store. The instructor taught us how to do it using a formula from her book titled Custom Knits: Unleash Your Inner Designer with Top-Down and Improvisational Techniques. I have found that the best way for me to learn a knitting technique is by having someone show me in person. Perhaps you could order the book online and then look for videos that teach knitting a sweater from the top down. Good luck!
