This is so beautiful, the colour and the model. I love knitting too but to be honest, I haven’t done a sweater like yours till today. Could you tell me from where did you started. Do you have any video or tutorial about this patter. I want to try this one. Especially how you connected the arms, you all knitt with round needle, I can see this, but arms how you dii. Thank you, love, nia
Hi, unfortunately I don’t have a video or tutorial for this. I started at the neckline, increased for the shoulders, and worked my way from the top down. I actually began around 2 years ago and just never got around to finishing it! I recently picked it up again so that I could finish it this year. I learned how to make a top-down sweater from a class at a local yarn store. The instructor taught us how to do it using a formula from her book titled Custom Knits: Unleash Your Inner Designer with Top-Down and Improvisational Techniques. I have found that the best way for me to learn a knitting technique is by having someone show me in person. Perhaps you could order the book online and then look for videos that teach knitting a sweater from the top down. Good luck!
Thank you so much, you made clear for me, I love knitting but never did from top to down. I will search and try. You are so nice, your knitting will be so nice. Good Luck for you too, love, nia
